Sexual Abuse & Assault

You are not alone, and it is not your fault. We provide confidential, compassionate representation to survivors who are ready to seek justice.

Confidential. Compassionate. Relentless.

Civil lawsuits give survivors a way to hold abusers — and the institutions that enabled them — accountable, independent of any criminal case. Schools, churches, employers, youth organizations, medical providers, rideshare companies and hotels can be responsible when they ignore warning signs, fail to screen or supervise, or cover up abuse.

Cases we handle

  • Childhood sexual abuse
  • Abuse by clergy or youth leaders
  • Abuse in schools and universities
  • Medical and therapist abuse
  • Workplace sexual assault
  • Rideshare and hotel assaults

Your privacy comes first

Every conversation with us is confidential. In many cases survivors can file using initials or a pseudonym to protect their identity. You decide what you share and when — we move at your pace.

Many states have extended or temporarily reopened deadlines for survivors of childhood abuse. Even if the abuse happened years ago, you may still have a case.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For 24/7 confidential support, contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673 (RAINN).

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a criminal conviction to file a civil case?

No. A civil case is separate from any criminal prosecution and uses a different standard of proof.

Will my name become public?

We take every available step to protect your identity, including filing under a pseudonym where allowed.

Is it too late to file?

Not necessarily. Deadlines for abuse claims vary widely, and several states have extended them. Talk to us confidentially to find out.
